The 2Companions Studio is a short-form film studio on Springfield Avenue in Newark. It exists for one job: turning a single morning of somebody's time into a month of things worth posting.
Most studios sell you a shoot. This one sells you back your evenings.
A shoot is an event. You plan around it, you turn up, you get a handful of things, and a month later you are planning the next one. That is a fine way to make a film and a poor way to keep an account alive.
So the room is built the other way round. Lit and miked before you arrive, run to a shot list, and pointed at volume — because the thing that actually stops people posting is not ambition, it is the count of evenings.

What the studio is for
- Volume that stays consistent. Twenty a month, every month, on a fixed morning.
- People who know their subject. You talk, the room handles everything else.
- Founders and operators who would rather buy back four evenings than learn an editor.
- Long-form that gets cut down. A podcast sitting and the shorts inside it.
What it is not for
- Music-backed edits. Not negotiable, and it is the first thing people ask.
- One beautiful film. There are better studios for that, and I will name one.
- Posting and community management. The folder arrives; the account stays yours.
- Thinking on the clock. Scripts land forty-eight hours ahead or the morning does not work.
Set before you arrive, struck after you leave.
Camera, key light and microphone are standing and tested by the time you sit down, so none of your three hours goes on setup. You get a chair, a shot list and somebody telling you when a take landed.
